The final activity of this project, Math and Games, was like the icing on the cake.

It was fun and exciting to connect math with games. We solved puzzles and created wonderful pictures of nature and landscapes. We had to solve tasks with fractions, and then place the right puzzle pieces in the correct spots. After that, we solved equations with rational numbers. Whoever had the right solution received a token. This led to a real race and excitement to see who could collect the most tokens. The students were very motivated to solve the tasks. There was a great competition in collecting tokens. In this way, they solved many equations. I was glad to see the students happy and                                                                cheerful, and also diligent.

The daily challenge for us teachers is how to motivate students. This was an excellent way to motivate students, which I will strive to apply as much as possible in practice.

Team 7 - Mixed Teams activity_New Year Calendar

When creating New Year's calendars, we were divided into 7 teams. Each team consisted of 3 to 5 teachers and up to ten students. Also, each team received a topic that the students of the team will deal with and will use the given topic to decorate the joint New Year's calendar. My team was Team 7 and teachers were: Çiğdem Durmuş / Huriye Eren Secondary School, Džiralda H. Mehmedagić , JU Seventh Elementary School Gornji Rahić, Mirjana Kovačević Bašić and Mira Matijašević from Elementary School Žnjan-Pazdigrad and me, Marica Brzica , from Elementary School Visoka in Split. We met through the ESEP Chat meeting channel and agreed on the steps for creating the parts of the calendar that we are responsible for. We met on December 14, 2023. Math & Games in Elementary school Visoka

We decided to create math games in a completely new tool - Genially. We tried a number of templates and created an Escape room for students from a neighboring school. We had fun and learned to work in a new digital tool. The best was the finale in the form of an online meeting between our students and teachers.  Students from Elementary School Visoka spent the day at the Project Day. They were on the Marjan hill in Split and could not come to the online meeting. Teacher Marica Brzica spoke on their behalf, praising the project and all the activities. She expressed the desire of the students to participate in the project again.
